These About pages come with a lot of pressure.

If the About page is boring, you might not stick around too long.   You probably clicked here before reading any of the posts.  That’s what I do when checking out a new blog.  I am assuming we are not that different when it comes to wanting to know the person behind the post.

So here’s what you need to know about me:

I am just a normal person.  Not famous.  Not too fancy.

I am completely head over heels in love with my family.

I am on an amazing journey with my husband of re-birthing a dying church in the heart of the city.

I love the city and the vast diversity of people, food, and entertainment that it offers.

I love my constant companions–peace, hope, and grace.  They fill my life because of the work of Jesus Christ.

I love to travel.  I have been around the world and think that two of the most magical places on earth are Bar Harbour, Maine and Black Mountain, North Carolina.

I hope you’ll stick around and enjoy being a part of this blog.  My posts will be a combination of who I am as a pastor’s wife and mom with what I am learning in life and ministry.  This blog is simply a reflection of who I am.
